Anker charging station — St. Petersburg, FL

What affects the price

When you look at the cost of getting an EV charger installed at your home, a few main things change the bottom line. The biggest factor is how far your electrical panel is from where you want the charger; longer wiring runs mean more materials and labor. You also have to consider if your current panel has enough available amperage to handle the new circuit, or if you need an expensive service upgrade. Additionally, the type of charger you choose and the difficulty of running conduit through walls or attics play a role.

About this service

Anker offers residential EV charging hardware designed for home use. You might choose this brand if you want a reliable, user-friendly unit for your personal garage. Like any home installation, the final price is affected by whether your electrical panel needs an upgrade or if your garage requires new conduit runs. These units typically cost a few hundred dollars for the hardware; exact pricing confirmed free on the call.
