What affects the price

When you look at the cost of getting an EV charger installed at your home, a few main things change the bottom line. The biggest factor is how far your electrical panel is from where you want the charger; longer wiring runs mean more materials and labor. You also have to consider if your current panel has enough available amperage to handle the new circuit, or if you need an expensive service upgrade. Additionally, the type of charger you choose and the difficulty of running conduit through walls or attics play a role.

About this service

FPL Evolution is a specific program for Florida residents where the utility company manages the equipment installation and maintenance for a monthly fee. You might look into this if you want to avoid the upfront cost of hardware and prefer having your local utility handle the technical side of the installation. Costs vary based on the specific equipment chosen and your home's current electrical setup. We can help with the wiring needed for these units; exact pricing confirmed free on the call.
